The International Young Scientists Forum on Ecology and Resource Sustainable Development of the Silk Road 2023 (Second Circular), organized by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography (XIEG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), took place in Urumqi (Xinjiang) from July 8 to 10, 2023. In-depth discussions on a variety of current issues pertaining to sustainable development in Central Asia, including the ecological belt in Central Asia, the ecological management of the Aral Sea, environmental protection, renewable energy sources and biodiversity conservation, were held during this forum, which attracted 320 participants from 35 countries. Among the scientific experts and guests of the forum were scientists from the Kazakh Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U.U.Uspanov - researchers Suleimenova Altynay, Rakhimova Moldir, Yershigulov Azamat, Songulov Yersultan and Abay Ayan. As well as the scientific staff of the institute - senior researcher, PhD Rakhimova Moldir and junior researcher Songulov Yersultan presented talks on the topics of "Climate change impacts on water resources and adaptation needs in Kazakhstan" and "Soil Researches Of Irrigable and "Worthless" in Salt Soil».                                                                                                                                                                                    Opening ceremonies, academic discussions, working meetings, and a research trip to Turpan were all held during this forum in support of the establishment of the proposed "Innovation Base of the Silk Road International Academy of Sciences" and the proposed "Association of Young Scientists of Central Asia".
