On June 27, 2023, a seminar-meeting on the topic "Current state and ways of development of the agricultural sector" was held in the city of Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region, organized by the Akimat of Zhetysu region by the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
The seminar – meeting was attended by Akim of Zhetysu region B. U. Isabayev, Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, Vice-President of the "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. K. Kurishbayev, many leading scientists and heads of agricultural institutes, agricultural producers and akims of districts.  
At the seminar-meeting, Beibit Issabayev raised a number of issues for the development of the agricultural sector, such as integration between science and production, i.e. agricultural producers, the use of new scientific developments in production that contribute to increased productivity, as well as the shortage of qualified specialists in the region.    
Kurishbayev A. K. expressed the readiness of scientists to provide scientific support in the branches of agriculture of the Zhetysu region and proposed to open a "knowledge dissemination center". The proposal to open the center was supported by the scientists participating in the seminar.  
During the seminar-meeting, an exhibition of scientific achievements of research institutes was organized. At the exhibition, Deputy Chairman of the Department of Science of the Institute, PhD Tanirbergenov S. I. presented the ongoing research and new technologies of the Institute.
